 • Pick a vehicle class that suits your needs.
 • Provide additional information such as your itinerary in the “Notes for the chauffeur” field. 
 • Complete your booking, and enjoy your private chauffeur!

How do I create an itinerary for the hourly ride?

Accepted Answer

If your itinerary is available at the time of booking, you can add it in the “Additional request” field. Otherwise, just let your chauffeur know on the day.

Can I make changes to my itinerary during the ride?

Accepted Answer

Yes! One of the benefits of booking by the hour is flexibility. You can adjust your itinerary on the day of the ride.

When will I receive the chauffeur's contact information?

Accepted Answer

The chauffeur’s name and telephone number will be sent to the passenger one hour before pickup via email and SMS. This message also contains the make, model and license plate number of the vehicle. If you booked for someone else, this information will be sent to the email address and phone number provided in the booking process.
Your chauffeur will remain at your disposal and coordinate with you to ensure a smooth pick-up, even in crowded areas.

How do I communicate with the chauffeur between stops?

You can contact the chauffeur via the telephone number that will have been sent to you one hour before pickup via email and SMS.

Does the chauffeur speak English?

Accepted Answer

Samantha Travels chauffeurs speak basic English as well as the local language of the country the ride is conducted in.

Question 7

Can the chauffeur pick me up in one city and drop me off in another city?

Accepted Answer

Our by-the-hour service is designed for journeys with multiple stops within the same city. This service includes 15 kilometers of travel per booked hour. If the ride ends outside the starting city, additional charges will apply for the chauffeur’s return journey, covering both distance and time.
If you plan to travel between cities, we recommend booking a city-to-city ride instead.

Question 8

Can I extend the number of hours I’ve booked?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can edit your booking before it starts via our website.
If your booking has already started and you want to extend, please let the chauffeur know and they will confirm with Blacklane. If the chauffeur is available, your account will be charged the additional time after the booking is finished.

Question 9

Can I add child seats to the booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is possible. Please select the Business Van/SUV vehicle class and add the required child seat in the “Notes for the chauffeur” field. We will do our best to organize a child seat ahead of time.

Question 10

How can the driver pick up my group ?

Accepted Answer

Railway station and airport :
The driver will be waiting for you at baggage claim, displaying a sign with your name on it. However, please note that access for drivers may vary depending on the station/airport.
 
Others :
For other specific pick-up locations such as hotels, offices or special events, your driver will provide pick-up at the address specified at the time of booking.
 
Making contact :
You will receive the driver’s details, including telephone number and vehicle license plate, 24 hours before the pick-up.

Question 11

How long will the driver wait for me ?

Accepted Answer

Train station and airport :
Waiting is free up to 1 hour after flight landing. In case of flight/train delay, no penalty will be applied.
 
Others :
The driver will wait for you up to 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time.
